The folks at Trampoline branding hired me to create theme images to promote the multi million dollar renovation that has just been completed and the Resort's grand re-opening in the Spring of 2014. The concept was to reflect the history of the Hotel with new images that recalled the great Canadian Railway posters of the 20th Century, but with the twist of modern electronic devices in the images.
The Algonquin Resort has been a Canadian Travel landmark for over 125 years. The hotel has played host to Royalty & many Heads of State. Just for fun I've included some images from the past history of the resort.

Growing up in Akron, Ohio the rubber capital of the world as I was, most kids were part of either a Goodyear, General, or like me a BFGoodrich family. Because that's where your Dad or Mom worked.
So it was a treat for me to get a call for an assignment to contribute artwork for General Tire's 100th Anniversary calendar. I looked past my allegiance to BFG and produced these images all inspired by vintage ads from General tire's past.
